Tint Manager / Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tint Manager ("Tint Manager," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the Tint Manager application, websites, and related services (together, the "Service").
1. Who this policy covers
Tint Manager provides business-management software to window tinting businesses. A business that uses Tint Manager controls the customer and job information it enters into its workspace. We process that information on the business's behalf to provide the Service. If you are a customer of a tinting business and have a question about its use of your information, contact that business first.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account and business information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, authentication identifiers, company details, team membership, early-access application responses, preferences, and support communications.
- Customer and job information: customer contact details, addresses, vehicles, properties, measurements, projects, appointments, proposals, invoices, payment records, files, photos, inventory records, messages, and notes entered by a business using the Service.
- Payment information: subscription and transaction details. Payment card information is processed by our payment provider; Tint Manager does not store complete payment card numbers.
- Usage and device information: IP address, browser and device type, timestamps, pages and features used, diagnostic events, security logs, and necessary cookie or local-storage data.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
- authenticate users and manage accounts, workspaces, permissions, and subscriptions;
- process payments and deliver email, text, and push communications requested by a business;
- provide customer support and respond to questions;
- monitor reliability, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
- improve the Service and develop features; and
- comply with law and enforce our agreements.
4. Google sign-in data
If you sign in with Google, we receive the Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image that you authorize Google to provide. We use this information only to authenticate you, create or connect your Tint Manager account, and display your account profile. Tint Manager does not request access to your Google contacts, Drive, Gmail, or other Google account content.
Tint Manager's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- to infrastructure, authentication, storage, payment, mapping, email, messaging, analytics, and support providers that process it for us under contractual restrictions;
- as directed by the business that controls a workspace;
- when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and the Service; or
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Text messaging information
We use mobile numbers and message history to provide communications requested by the business and recipient. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may disclose information to telecommunications providers solely as needed to deliver messages, prevent abuse, and comply with law. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
7. Cookies and local storage
The Service uses necessary cookies and browser storage to maintain authentication, remember preferences, protect sessions, and operate features. We also use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to measure page visits and non-identifying conversion events such as opening, starting, completing, or failing the round-table application. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies and receive usage and device information. We do not send names, email addresses, or application answers to analytics, and we do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Data retention
We retain account and workspace information while an account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We retain early-access applications while evaluating applicants and operating the round-table program, and delete them when they are no longer needed, subject to records we must retain for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security purposes. After account termination, Customer Data remains exportable for 30 days and may then be deleted, subject to limited backup cycles and those same retention obligations.
9. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, tenant isolation, encryption in transit, and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
Account users can review and update profile and business information in the Service and can export Customer Data while the account is active. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact support@tintmanager.com. We may need to verify your identity. A tinting business's customer should direct requests concerning that business's records to the business first.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
12. United States processing
Tint Manager and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those locations may have different data protection laws than your location.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice where required.
